United Christian Church & Ministerial Association
Established in 1956 by Rev. H. Richard Hall
United Christian Academy is an accredited school serving students from preschool through twelfth grade and uses an accelerated faith-based A Beka curriculum taught by degreed, well-trained faculty.
Our extra-curricular activities include art and music appreciation, Spanish, sports and Spirit Squad. UCA students are given the opportunity to participate in the National Honor Society. Our students are involved in community service projects and ministry outreach such as Samaritan’s Purse and Christmas Tree Angel.
United Christian Academy (UCA) was established in 1984 by then Pastor Margie Minton-Poteat and Rev. Dr. Pat Hayes, as part of the vision set forth by Reverend H. Richard Hall, founder of the United Christian Church and Ministerial Association.
UCA is a member of the Tennessee Association of Nonpublic Academic Schools International.
We are pleased that you are interested in learning more about UCA and the excellent educational experience our program offers. Exploring educational opportunities for your child is exciting, and we look forward to sharing in this experience with you.
Our program provides a stimulating academic environment through which children grow intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.
Classes are intimate with a structure that optimizes interactions between teacher and student. Children also work in small groups and enjoy hands-on learning. The curriculum is grounded in the fundamentals of reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies and complemented by instruction in art, music, library, physical wellness, and technology.
United Christian Academy students are encouraged to attend church but are not required to attend the United Christian Church. By using Abeka’s Bible curriculum specially designed for the classroom, our teachers focus on what’s important: your child’s growing knowledge of Jesus Christ!
UCA believes in the importance of spiritual growth and of building a community of individuals who are kind, honest, cooperative, self-reliant, and compassionate.
United Christian Academy is a ministry of the United Christian Church & Ministerial Assoc.

Faith is the cornerstone of our church. It is part of every activity that we do, every meeting that we hold. We believe in our Lord, and that our actions are a reflection of his goodness.
We look to the Lord for guidance in our lives. In Scripture, we find all that we need to guide us in the right path. Reading and understand Scripture helps us all live meaningful lives.
Join us. We welcome each and every one of you to encounter the Lord's unconditional love with us. Inside each of us is a purpose and meaning to be fulfilled by God.
